A BUG report ?? You are kidding me, right ?
If you encounter a bug, it's agood idea to report it. If you don't, ASM-One
would trun into an unusable program. Here's some info on how to
report........... BUGS !!!
What information should you send ?
Besides the actual bug, it would come in handy if you could descripe
how you encountered the bug. It would be even nicer of you (and a lot
easier when you want the bug fixed) to include source code that reproduces
the bug you are reporting.
Becose please do NOT forget: If I'm unable to reproduce a bug, I recon you
may have been wrong. I'll mail you about this when it happens.
Generaly: be as specific as you can be, and included as much information
as possible.
Oh, and don't forget your E-Mail address. Very handy when I like to reply.
I say this becose sometimes the reply-address doesn't exsist !!!
To whom can you send a bug report ?
There is only ONE address to send bugs to:
Boushh [at] TheFlameArrows [dot] info
You received a Personalized Beta Version
Sometimes I'm unable to reproduce a bug. This could be the case when the
bug is specific to one type of Amiga. And allthough I own 8 of them. The A1200
is still missing in my collection. If you send a bug, I'll try to reproduce it on my
A4000
Anyways, in these cases I could send you an altered version of ASM-One to see
if the problem has been solved. If you receive a Personalized Beta Version and you
are not planning to test it, than please let me know that.
You didn't get an answer ?
I do my very best to answer all mails. But sometimes they get lost between all my
other mails. But most common is that I have no answer for you at that time. There's
a good change I'll mail you later (sometimes even months later).
What also could happen is that I read your message, and was able to fix the bug you
reported. In these cases I may put up a Beta or Final release instead of mailing you.
Anyhow: it's a good thing to check the ASM-One pages on a regular basis.
